Joseph House Breaks Ground After Successful Capital Campaign
On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, Joseph House broke ground on its new home that expands their ability to serve females, those with disabilities and justice-involved veterans. Veterans in the newly constructed, consolidated facility will have their own private rooms and bathrooms. Executive Director Alicia Patterson shared the profound impact the new facility will have for the veteran community and led a program that included public officials, funders, and residents of the program.
Clifford Consulting has provided assistance to Joseph House for the past ten years including executive transition support, strategic planning, and capacity building. We helped lead development efforts for this $9.5 million capital campaign including writing ten successful local and national grants. These included a $3.2 million proposal to the Department of Veteran Affairs to launch the project and a $1.5 million gift from the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). We will continue to assist Joseph House as it continues to raise funds for furnishing and finishes for the building.
